I have to say that I have enjoyed reading my book and reporting the things that I have felt and learned as I read. I decided about 6 months ago that I want to make an effort to sad more for pleasure. I just don't have a lot of time with 3 children and my husband just returning from Iraq to spend much time relaxing and reading. I hope that I am able to continue to take out time for my self and enjoy reading. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy our time reading and get a grade for our efforts.

Week 7
Shortly after Laural came in and headed up stairs Mac came in her bathroom while she was taking a shower and demanded that she comes down stairs and have breakfast with her and the rest of the girls and tell them all about her evening and over night stay. For obvious reasons she didn’t want to spend the morning telling them all about her wonderful night with Del. She knew that they would not leave her along today unless she went out and told them what they wanted to hear. So she decided she would join them.
The girls had all made a bet about the time frame in which Laural and Del would sleep together. So Laural started out to say that she lost the bet. I believe that her bet was 30 days into the relationship. Emma said that she lost the bet you but somethings were just more important then money!~
After everyone one left and started their day Parker walked out with Laural to tell her that if she ever thinks that she is uncomfortable telling her things just because Del is her brother not to because she loves knowing that the two of them are happy. Laural asks her to please tell her if she starts to mess things up. They walk off to start their own busy days.
Week 6
This we I started out with Del going back to his place feeling like he would have rather stayed with Laurel. He thought about how he had from time to time thought about Laurel but also always thought about her as being off limits because she was just as much family as anyone else. Then there was a knock at Del's door and it was Laurel. She had come back because she wanted to spend the night with him.
The next morning when she woke up she had to get back to her house to work on a few cake for coming events. She was crawling around on the floor looking for her shoes and that is when Del woke up, asking her why in the world was she on the floor.
Del insisted on driving her home since she had come by a cab the night before. When he got her to her house she gave him a kiss and ran off to the door. Once inside she took a moment to let everything that just happening in the last 24 hour sink in. It was her turn to enjoy life and be happy.

This week was all about the Independence Day party that the girls planned. Laurel made a cake for the event of course. For this one she was use spun sugar which was more time consuming but well worth her time.
The morning of the event Mrs. G makes everyone a fantastic breakfast to include Belgian waffles. Del places Mrs. G at the head of the table. Mrs. G can't resist his wonderful manners and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
Later in the day they all headed out to the party, everything was all set up to have a wonderful day. They had planned on having a picnic lunch and they also played a game of softball. Laurel was in the out field. She wanted to play in the in field but Del said he needed someone that could play in the infield.
The day was wonderful for the group. Later they watch fire work together and Laurel and Del sat pleasantly together as they enjoyed the moment in each others arms.

Hello from the reading corner!
Well I guess not so much this week. It has been a crazy week around this house. I have been trying to get everything ready for my husband home coming next week. I have not had very much time to sit down and read like I would have liked to. I did how ever make my self relax and read some.
Right now in our story Laurel and Del have been dating for a while now. They have been going out to dinner and lunches and just hanging out. In one date the two of them discuss what they plan on doing on the 4th of July. Laurel has already planned for the whole group of them to spend it together.
I think these too have what it take to stay together. They are still not sure this is the right thing but they are going to go for it and see what happens. Often times that is the only way you will know if something is right. Laurel at one point keeps talking about how good things are going and that she is kind of waiting on the other shoe to fall. Del keeps telling her to stop wasting time thinking about what could go wrong or she is going to miss something that is happening now.
I have relay been enjoying this story. I love the writings and the slow and interesting pace of it. I love to be able to take this time for my self to do something that I enjoy and that I look forward to doing.

Week 2
I found myself this week reading a lot more. Even after I got to my minutes that I had to read for the class I wanted to keep reading. Even know I knew I still had other homework to be done. LOL I made a lot of head way this week on my book.
In the story the girls that this book focuses on is more and more interested in having a relationship with her friends brother. They tend to go and back and forth of if it is the right or wrong thing to do. Everyone else seem to support their decision to move forward to a relationship but the two of them are still unsure that it will work out in a positive way for either of them.
This time has been a very busy one for her since there have been a ton of events that she has needed to make the cakes for. She has been staying busy and some what avoids any one of one communication between them.
I believe soon I will be able to figure out if they decide to go with their feels and have a full blown relationship.

Week 1
Over the summer my friend has told me about this set of books. Having a little extra time on my hands I decided to reading the very first one Vision in White. I loved it and could not put it down. So when given the task to create a blog and to have a time set aside for pleasure reading I decided I would begin to read the second book in the series which is savor the moment. It is starting out just as great as the first one.
In the attempt to catch you up a bit the first book tells of 4 girls that grew up together playing together and pretending to have weddings all the time. They would married each other and their brothers and their friends. They would include their stuffed animals in these weddings. As they grew up they all went to school and then they started a wedding business together. It is called Vows. Each of the girls has a role in the business. One is the photographer, one is the cake maker, one is the florist and the last one is the one that makes all the business arrangements. They could not be happier that they all get to create such great experiences together for brides to be. In the first book Mackensie is the one that is in focus and it tells about her journey as a photographer and her meeting a man and falling in love. It also high lights time that her crazy mother swops into her life and swops out again.
Now on to starting the second book. This time the story shifts to the cake decorator. It very much highlights the process of what she does and the people that she meet and the families that she touches. In a very unsuspecting encounter she ends up kissing one of the other girls brother. They both had been having feelings about the other for a long time now but never said anything due to the partnership with their friend and sister. They try to avoid what happen and are not doing a very good job. They have a few more meetings together. She has to explain everything to her friend and is not sure how but her friend is all for it and pushes her along.
I have enjoyed every minute of this reading and can not wait to read more this week.
